Cracks!

OKAY. So. I just watched this film on the DVD I just bought. I closed the window I watched it in like, five minutes ago. And the only thing I am able to say right now is that I am very, VERY disturbed. It was a pretty…outlandish film, but I think I actually loved it. The atmosphere during the whole film was very, very strange, even at the beginning, before the action began. I don't know, you just FEEL there's something wrong with the character Eva Green is playing, Miss G. She is a natation teacher in the thirties, lost on a Island in the boarding school she's working in, with five young girls litteraly at her feet, admiring her and almost fangirling every time Miss G calls one of them "Honey" or touches one's head. Seriously. And the character of Miss G appears too perfect, too flawless to keep going this way. And INDEED, she doesn't keep going this way, as soon as arrives in the boarding school a new pupil, Fiamma, a spanish aristocrat who doesn't seem very fond of the new place where she's going to stay, and not very fond of her natation teacher either.

And when we discover who Miss G really is and how she graduately destroy herself and others around her by her fascination (and probably unbearable love!) for Fiamma, PFUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

Mind=blown.

By the way, her performance as an actress was incredible, over all in the scene where she holds the umbrella in the pictures above. She's just badass. I was almost suffocating seeing her do all these things she does in the movie, oh god.
And in this one, she just looked like: "You'll shit the living hell out of you having me as a teacher, gurl. Deal with it."




Oh, and also. Eva is just so adorable falling in love.

All in all, a must-watch film. And I am talking very seriously.

Plus when Miss G cries, her nose becomes RED. I SWEAR.
